AI-for-Good Sprint Eligibility

Our volunteer sprints are designed to help nonprofits and social ventures leverage AI. To ensure we can make a meaningful impact, we have some eligibility criteria for submitted projects.

Eligible Organization Types

Projects must be submitted by or on behalf of a registered nonprofit, social enterprise, or a B Corporation with a clear social mission. We prioritize organizations with limited technical resources.

Project Scope

The project must have a clear, well-defined goal that can realistically be achieved within a two-week sprint (approx. 20-40 total volunteer hours). Examples include:

  • Developing a set of AI prompts to streamline content creation.
  • Building a simple no-code automation for an administrative task.
  • Researching AI tools to solve a specific operational challenge.
  • Creating a proof-of-concept for a simple GPT-powered tool.

We cannot build complex software or handle projects requiring extensive engineering.

Data & Privacy

Projects must not require access to sensitive personal information (PII), financial data, or other confidential records. If data is needed, you must be able to provide anonymized or synthetic data sets for the sprint team to work with. All participants sign an NDA, but we take a privacy-first approach to project selection.
